Using skills such as motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy, and strength-based coaching, I can put you back in charge of your life by aligning your goals with your values. Your motivation will switch from being generated from outside sources to coming from within yourself.  I can help motivate you to do the hard work.

 

You are not alone in your struggle.  You are not the only one with something keeping you from changing and/or making new decisions.

Our society promotes a lifestyle that is less than empowering.  Self-accountability is traded for big-business options that seem easy and appealing.

Around every corner there is a new temptation or barrier that keeps you from being your best self. Negativity is everywhere. Extremes are everywhere. Social media has infiltrated our lives, and a vast majority of the information we absorb is either nonsense or unhelpful at best.  Long hours, poor sleep, garbage diets, no social connection, and sedentary behavior are considered normal lifestyle habits.

 

So, if you are feeling like you are in a hole that you can't climb out of, it's understandable.  Maybe you have done some research on "healthy eating" and "how to get in shape".  Maybe you've tried some popular diets and worked out a little, only to make progress and then find yourself back in the hole you started to climb out of.  This is where I can help you.  Habit & behavior change takes time and understanding.  It also takes some accountability and support.  It is a science, and there are some qualified health nerds out there, like myself, who really get into this stuff.  It is more than willpower.  First, it is about understanding why self-care is important and then developing self-efficacy.  My goal is to help you make lasting changes.  I actually care about you and want you to succeed.  I am not here to tell you what to do, but I am here to meet you where you are, listen to your story, and help you make evidence-based, effective and strategic moves in order to move towards your health goals.
